The Faca chopper is designed to chop plants. This implement chops the plant, but does not affect the soil surface to prevent sprouting. To increase the aggressiveness of the chopper, it can be ballasted with water or additional weights. It is equipped with 10 twisted blades 100x10mm on a roll with a diameter of 607mm. At Ferme de la Conillais, we set up a plant cover platform to test the sensitivity of different species to the FACA chopper. Here are some cutlery that can't resist rolling.
