Massey Ferguson, an international brand of AGCO (NYSE: AGCO) is pleased to announce that the MF 8S series, of high efficiency and comfort, has won the 2022 Agricultural Equipment Award for tractors, in the 180HP - 400HP category.

Simple and reliable range
There is a choice between six models in the simple and reliable MF 8S series - from the 205hp MF 8S.205 to the state-of-the-art MF 8S.305 305hp. A choice of "Exclusive" or "Efficient" packages and a wide range of options allow farmers to customize the tractor to suit their individual needs.
All are equipped with the latest technology, 7.4-liter AGCO Power six-cylinder engines. They develop maximum power at an engine speed of just 1,500 rpm, for excellent savings and quiet operation. Engine Power Management (depending on the model) ensures an increase in power of over 20HP, along with additional torque when the need is greatest.
Unique Protect-U project
With a 24cm separation space between the cab and the engine, the unique Protect-U concept completely insulates the cab from noise, heat and vibration. With a noise level of only 68dB, it is one of the quietest on the market and, with an interior volume of 3.4m³, it is also one of the most spacious. A bright and airy workspace, with a glass area of 6.6 m², has unparalleled space and visibility.
By replacing the dashboard with the new 'MF vDisplay' digital terminal mounted on the right pillar of the MF 8S cab, only the steering wheel and the Power Control lever remain in front of the driver, which offers exceptional frontal visibility over the slim hood, with a waist like a wasp.
The new Control Center armrest, equipped with the latest easy-to-use Multipad lever, offers complete fingertip control. This ISOBUS compatible lever operates all tractor functions and includes an integral micro-joystick for controlling the two distributor valves.
Outstanding transmission option
The MF 8S tractors are available with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) option including the latest Dyna-7, the new Dyna-E-Power and the well-known Dyna-VT which is standard on the MF 8S.305 and optional on the other models.
A new automatic mode that increases efficiency for the Dyna-VT allows operators to use the Multipad lever or pedal to change forward speed, while automatically setting the optimum engine speed based on load and speed. In addition to ensuring a more uniform operation, it also reduces fuel consumption.
Alternatively, the Dyna E-Power, the dual-clutch gearbox combines the advantages of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with the ability to transmit power as efficiently as a mechanical transmission.
Use Dual Clutch technology to change gears and anticipate when to make uniform changes. Provides four ranges with seven steps and semi-overlaps to maximize performance on the field and on the road.
Another option is the new Dyna-7 semi-automatic transmission from Massey Ferguson, which offers easy and efficient operation of a total of 28 speeds back and forth in four ranges and seven uniform gears.
Complete connectivity
The latest 9 ”terminal, Datatronic 5, is mounted on an adjustable arm. With the anti-glare touch screen and shortcut keys, it's as easy and intuitive to use as a mobile phone or tablet.
This single-screen system controls all tractor functions and manages the full range of MF Technologies intelligent agricultural machinery including MF Guide, MF Section and MF Rate Control as well as MF TaskDoc data capture and transfer.
For better flexibility of operation, users can also choose to control the functions for precision farming through the optional Fi terminal.
