  2. WHAT SOURCES DO THE DATA WE PROCESS COME FROM?

    We process the data received from you by filling in the contact form on our website, as well as those received through the "Careers" section.

  3. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

    We process your personal data to contact you in connection with the request you have sent us. For this purpose, we process the following categories of data:

    • identification information (i.e. name, surname);
    • contact information (i.e. email address, phone number, city, name of the company on whose behalf you contacted us);
    • information about your professional experience (e.g. CV, diplomas, letters of recommendation).

    Your identification and contact information is sent to our sales agents, for the formulation and transmission of the answer to your request, in order to fulfill the steps prior to concluding a contract, or in order to manage the execution of a contract.

    The information regarding your professional experience, which you transmit to us through the “Careers” section, on our website will be processed for the purpose of concluding an individual employment contract.

    Your data will not be processed for any purpose other than those provided above.

    If you refuse to provide us with all the necessary data, we will find ourselves in a situation where we will not be able to provide you with the requested services.

  4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

    If, after the transmission of data, you conclude a service provision contract with Us or Our partners, we will retain your personal data during the execution of the contract. Subsequently, we will continue to process your data in accordance with the principle of minimization and purpose limitation, if we are required by a legal provision (e.g. keeping documents, records and accounting records, for a period of 5 or 10 years) or if we have a legitimate interest (e.g. for audit purposes or when such information is necessary for the conduct of investigations or legal proceedings).

    In the case of data submitted in order to fill a position in our company, we will retain your data during the execution of the employment contract. Subsequently, we will continue to process your data in accordance with the principle of minimization and purpose limitation, if we are required by law (e.g. keeping documents in the personnel file for a period of 50 years) or if we have a legitimate interest (e.g. for audit purposes or when such information is necessary for the conduct of investigations or legal proceedings).

    We will ensure that your data is deleted when its storage is no longer supported by any of the above processing grounds.

    If, after the transmission of the data, you do not conclude a service contract with Us or Our partners, we will delete your data within 3 years from the date on which you provided it to us.

    If you use the form in the "Careers" section of our website to send us your personal data, without subsequently concluding an employment contract, that data will be stored for a maximum period of 6 months, then they will be deleted.

  5. WHO RECEIVES YOUR DATA?

    Your data will be processed and used to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above. It may be necessary, on a case-by-case basis, for data to be transferred to third parties in order to achieve those purposes.

    If we authorize an authorized person, we will remain fully responsible for the protection of your data. The persons authorized by Us or other third parties will receive your data only if they are necessary for the provision of the requested services. These are, for example:

    • IT service providers necessary for the operation and security of our IT systems;
    • financiers (i.e., banks, non-bank financial institutions);
    • other entities from the Sigma group CVM Romania S.R.L.

    In addition, Sigma CVM Romania S.R.L may be legally obliged to disclose your data if this is necessary to establish, exercise or defend our rights before the competent authorities.

  6. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THEM?

    In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, you have, under certain conditions, the following rights:

    1. From access data : You can obtain information about the processing of your personal data and a copy of this personal data;
    2. Correct your data : If you believe your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request that your personal data be modified accordingly;
    3. To obtain data deletion : You may request the deletion of your personal data to the extent required by law;
    4. Restrict processing : You can request a restriction on the processing of your personal data;
    5. To object to processing : You can challenge the processing of your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation. If you send us a request, the data contained in it will be accessible only to those persons who are authorized and involved in the settlement process.

    It is possible to request additional data to determine your identity, without changing the purpose of the initial data processing.
